Blandford Forum · North Dorset
One regular person you can get to know and trust—helping with the everyday things that make life easier.
How I can help
Choose what matters most for each visit. If you do not need the usual task that week, we can focus on something else within the agreed service.
Light cleaning and tidying, laundry, changing bedding, household organisation and everyday practical jobs.
Shopping, errands, friendly check-ins, companionship, simple paperwork and basic technology help.
Garden tidying, seasonal maintenance and straightforward DIY or household repairs within my competence.
Extra help with decluttering, deeper household organisation, larger practical jobs or preparing a home after a hospital stay.
A straightforward start
We talk about what would make day-to-day life easier, with no pressure or obligation.
We choose the visit length, usual priorities and a regular day or approximate time.
Your time stays flexible, so support can adapt from one week to the next.
Simple regular pricing
Regular support is paid in four-week blocks. Larger Home Reset, gardening and practical jobs can be quoted separately.

About Matt
I’m Matt Hallows, the person behind On Hand. I have over 12 years’ frontline experience assessing, reviewing and commissioning support solutions for adults with a wide range of mental and physical health needs.
That experience shapes how I communicate, notice potential risks and treat each person with dignity. On Hand is a practical support service—not a care agency—so you always know exactly what I can and cannot help with.
DBS checked and fully insured.
Clear and safe
On Hand does not provide personal or intimate care, medication administration, clinical services, financial management or specialist regulated trade work.
I will only undertake work that is safe, within my competence and covered by the business’s agreed insurance.
Where I work
The normal service area is approximately a 30-minute drive from Blandford Forum. Requests further afield will still be considered.
